# Billing & Refunds

> Payments, invoices, and the refund policy.

This page covers how payments work on xkat. For plan contents, see
[Membership Tiers](/en/platform/membership-tiers).

  Paid sales launch in **August 2026**. All courses are currently free, and the
  details below apply once sales go live.

## Subscriptions

* **Basic**, **Pro**, and **Creator** are subscriptions, billed **monthly** or **yearly**.
* Yearly billing is roughly **two months free** (about 17% off the monthly rate).
* Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.

## Individual course purchases

Paid (PAID) courses can be bought individually without a subscription. Members
receive a purchase discount based on their tier — **Basic 10%, Pro 20%, Creator 30%**.

## Managing your subscription

From your account settings you can:

* Upgrade or downgrade your plan
* Switch between monthly and yearly billing
* Cancel renewal

## Invoices

Receipts and invoices for your payments are available in your account billing
area.

## Refunds

Refund eligibility follows the policy in the [Terms & Privacy](/en/help/terms)
document. If you believe you're entitled to a refund, contact
[support](/en/help/support).
