# Membership & Credits

> How membership tiers and AI Credits work together.

xkat keeps billing simple with two independent levers:

* **Membership tier** controls **which courses you can take**.
* **AI Credits** control **how much AI usage** (course creation, AI import) you consume.

This means you never need a complicated grid of plans — you pick a membership for
learning access, and spend credits when you use AI.

  Paid sales launch in **August 2026**. All courses are currently free, and the
  prices and limits below reflect the upcoming launch.
